  • Yes, clinical counselling is confidential. Counsellors are bound by ethical standards to maintain your privacy, and they can only share information with your explicit consent, if there's a risk of harm to yourself or others, in case of harm of children, elderly or vulnerable adults and in case one is subpoenaed by court.

  • The number of sessions varies depending on your specific needs and goals. Some clients benefit from short-term counselling, while others may require longer-term support. Collaboratively, we will work together to determine the most appropriate duration for you.

  • Many extended health plans in British Columbia cover a portion of the cost of clinical counselling services. Check with your insurance provider to understand your coverage and any applicable limitations. Please be aware that I do not offer direct billing services. 

  • There is a 48-hour notice requirement to accommodate our active cancellation and waitlist system. If less notice is given, the full session fee will be charged to your credit card on file.

  • Psychodrama is a therapeutic technique and form of psychotherapy that was developed by Jacob L. Moreno. It is a creative and action-oriented approach to therapy that involves role-playing and dramatic improvisation to explore and resolve emotional and psychological issues. The primary goal of psychodrama is to help individuals gain insight into their thoughts, feelings, and behaviors and to work through personal and interpersonal conflicts.
